Roll your sleeves, put on your glasses and get ready to flip pages of Chez Edy’s long and profound menu. Don’t rush with hasty conclusions, be patient and go through all the menu before you actually call in for a waiter and order. I guarantee: whether you like seafood, poultry, meat, pasta or pizza; whether you are here for breakfast, lunch or dinner; whether you crave for desserts, juices or cocktails, Chez Edy has it all (and much more) ready at hand.
Since it was already 5pm when my friend and I reached Genena Mall, breakfast and lunch options dropped automatically. That was of course a big loss, as the place (one of few) offers excellent choices when it comes to these two meals: a variety of omelets, baked goods as croissants, muffins and cakes, health-oriented toasts, energy-boosting sandwiches and – naturally – a multitude of fresh juices and cocktails, not forgetting to offer a good choice of hot beverages.
Yet, dinner options were not bad either. To get us warmed up, we opted for a mix of appetizers, which were not necessarily healthy (all of them were dip fried) but definitely delicious (the sauces were a distinctive advantage). Next, we went for the French Onion Soup (a must-try since you are under the roof of a French eatery) and the flavorish Vegetable Soup, if you like sticking to more familiar options. For the main, we opted for Chicken with Mushroom and Shrimp Mushroom, both of which boasted excellent sauces and were brought with mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables (rice and French fries were also available). For dessert, we decided to take the recommendation of the waiter and he did not let us down. The Apple Strudel was soft; whereas the Orio Madness was so tasty (and well presented) that I was afraid to deep the fork into it, not wanting to spoil the creation.
The venue boasts comfy couches for couples and groups alike. Also on offer is a petite verandah serving as an outdoor sitting area; and for those coming here on their own, there is a free Wi-Fi, just in case you want to serf the net.

Good for: Suitable for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Must-Try: Orio Madness and their excellent drinks.
Crowd: A mix of youngsters and people in their 30’s.
