  The greeco-roman museum

This museum was opened in 1892 by khedive abbas helmy the second that had a task of creating a museum dedicated to the greeco-roman period. It is a small buidind located on al-horeya road.
The museum has a very big variety of coins which dates back to the ottoman period in the 19th century.
Greeco-roman mingled with the cult of serapis ,and the shift from pagan religions to Christianity which contains Hellenistic statues ,busts of roman emperors.It has hundreds of precious antiquites.
Hours of operation: open daily from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
Ticket cost: Egyptian:LE(1) AND STUDENTS (0.5) AND FOREIGN:LE(16)AND STUDENTS(8).
